Privacy Policy

01Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Acquah Technology LLC (“Acquah Technology,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit acquahtech.com or use our products, including CrushFi and StanClash (together, the “Services”). Each product may add details in its own in-app notices.

Daama (sendaama.com) is operated by Daama LLC, a separate company, and is governed by its own policies.

02Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider) and profile details you choose to add.
• Content you provide: notes, messages, photos and media you upload, and information you enter to use a feature.
• Financial information (CrushFi): debt balances, rates and payments you enter. If you link a bank account, account data is retrieved through Plaid under your authorization. We do not receive or store your bank login credentials.
• Payment information: subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We receive limited details such as plan status and the last four digits of a card, not full card numbers.
• Usage and device data: pages and features used, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, crash and error logs.
• Communications: messages you send us.

03How we use information

• Provide, operate, secure and improve the Services.
• Generate personalized features, including AI-assisted coaching, plans, summaries and analyses.
• Process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Send service messages such as receipts, security alerts and support replies, and marketing email where permitted (you can unsubscribe at any time).
• Detect fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms and comply with law.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

04AI processing

Some features send the content you provide to a third-party AI provider (currently Anthropic) to generate responses. We send only what is needed for the feature. We do not allow our providers to use your content to train their models under our agreements with them. AI output can be inaccurate; see our Terms of Use.

05Service providers and sharing

We share information with vendors that help us run the Services, only as needed and under confidentiality obligations:

• Supabase (database, authentication, storage)
• Vercel (hosting and delivery)
• Stripe (payments)
• Plaid (bank connectivity, CrushFi only)
• Anthropic (AI features)
• Email, analytics and error-monitoring providers

We may also disclose information to comply with law or legal process, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, financing or sale of assets. Content you choose to post publicly may be visible to other users according to the settings of that feature.

06Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and local storage that are necessary to keep you signed in and remember preferences, and Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-focused tool that measures page views and clicks without cookies or cross-site tracking, to understand how the Services are used. You can control cookies in your browser; blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in from working.

07Retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, then delete or de-identify it unless we must retain it for legal, tax, security or dispute-resolution reasons. You can request deletion at any time.

08Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and row-level database security. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password.

09Your choices and rights

You may access, correct, export or delete your information, and object to or limit certain uses, by emailing hello@acquahtech.com from the address on your account. Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Virginia and other U.S. states, and the EEA/UK), you may have additional rights under local law, including the right to appeal a decision. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them. You can disconnect a linked bank account at any time from the app or from your Plaid portal.

10Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11International users

We are based in the United States and process information there. If you access the Services from elsewhere, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will post the new version with a new effective date. If changes are material we will give additional notice, such as by email or in the product.
